The Silat Harimau as it is presented in this movie is the one that derives from Silat Minang. the from that Edwel Yusri, whore honoritic is Datuk Rajo Gampo Alam, delved into and learned from renowed Silat gurus while growing up in the West Sumatran area of Minangkabau. Silat Harimau is also practiced in other areas in West Sumatra, such as Kampuang Pariaman, Ujuang Bukit Pungasan Pesisir Bandar Sapuluh, Muaro Sijinnuang Solok and Pasaman.(M.Hariadi Anwar 2007)
